Hey everyone!
We’ve got some important news for all our customers who use Ticketmaster accounts — and it’s something a lot of people have been waiting for…
Over the past few days, we’ve seen reports from users across Reddit, Twitter, and Discord saying that Ticketmaster has quietly re-enabled the ability to receive OTP (One-Time Passcodes) via email. Yes, email — not just SMS!
This update seems to be working in two main areas:
 1. Joining the Ticket Queue
Users are now being prompted to verify their identity using an OTP sent to their email when entering high-demand ticket queues. This is a huge win for anyone who previously struggled with receiving SMS codes.
2. Transferring Tickets
There are also strong reports that transferring tickets now uses email-based OTP verification. If you’ve tried sending tickets to friends or reselling, you know how frustrating it was when the only option was SMS. Now, email is back as a valid and working option.
Why This Matters
For many of our users, this small change means more flexibility and less stress. You don’t need to rely solely on a phone number, deal with SMS delays, or spend too much money on SIMs from FoxSims.com — haha, we get it! As long as you have access to your email, you’re good to go.
We haven’t seen an official announcement from Ticketmaster about this yet, but based on what real users are experiencing, the feature is back — and working.
Our Recommendation
If you’re buying or transferring tickets soon, make sure the email linked to your Ticketmaster account is active and accessible. Double-check your spam or promotions folder too — sometimes these codes land there.
And as always, if you need verified Ticketmaster accounts, phone numbers for SMS, or help managing your queue strategy, we’ve got you covered at BuyFromFox.com and FoxSims.com.
